Attorney The Northern Virginia office of Squire Sanders is seeking a patent agent or attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our Intellectual Property practice. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent prosecution and technical analysis work relating to computer hardware, computer software, telecommunications, electrical, electromechanical, and automotive technologies. Qualified candidates must have a J.D. degree and/or be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and have strong academic credentials and superior organizational, writing, and communication skills. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar background. Experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications is also required.
