Key responsibilities: You will be advising both public and private sector clients across many different jurisdictions on all aspects of non-contentious employment law, with a large focus on the employment law implications of business acquisitions and mergers. Skills and experience: We expect you will have at least 1-4 years experience as an employment lawyer in order to have gained the required skills and experience to be successful in this position. In addition to this you will possess strong technical skills and excellent academic qualifications. Good organisation skills and attention to detail are required. A broad knowledge of employment law is required and you should have had experience of advising clients on smaller matters with minimal supervision. Due to the specialist nature of this role, you should demonstrate confidence in your technical abilities, planning skills in meeting deadlines and have the tenacity to see a case through to the end. Previous experience in cross jurisdictional matters will be required, as will experience of business acquisitions and mergers. You can expect an excellent training programme and a well developed supervision structure.
