Will work closely with executive and senior management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies that further the firm's pro bono and community involvement. Develop, manage, and oversee the firm's pro bono and community service programs in collaboration with a broad cross-section of firm leadership including the Board of Directors, Pro Bono Committee, Office Administrative Partners, General Counsel's Office, Human Resources, Professional Development, Business Development, and local department and practice chairs. Work to effectively engage individual attorneys, professionals, and staff across the firm in meaningful pro bono and community service projects and programs offered by, or developed in conjunction with, public interest and other referral organizations. Manage the Pro Bono Committee. Update, improve, and advise on the firm's pro bono policies and procedures. Review and approve new pro bono matters and projects. Monitor the pro bono program and maintain regular reports and data on pro bono activity. Encourage and support broad participation in the pro bono programs by all attorneys, professionals, paralegals, and summer associates across the firm's offices, departments and practice areas. Identify, develop, support and maintain relationships with external partner organizations. Develop and implement new pro bono projects and initiatives. Qualification and Experience: The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, J.D. and an active California, New York, or Washington, DC Bar membership.
