We require a resourceful and flexible individual to represent Eversheds onsite at our key clients. The group is increasingly being asked to provide short term or long term secondments. This will provide you with the opportunity to work in-house alongside our top clients' legal teams in financial institutions and banks whilst benefitting from the support network of an International legal practice. At other times you will provide temporary cover for another team member who undertakes the secondment. This will provide you with experience from working alongside our Chambers recognised legal advisers. You must therefore enjoy the challenge of working in different environments and have the ability to adapt and meet the challenge of many different demands. Key responsibilities: Whilst providing this support either directly to clients or the internal team, this position will provide you with an excellent opportunity to use your current expertise whilst gaining exposure to a wide range of specialist areas. You will be supported by some of the best Financial Services Dispute Resolution lawyers in the business whilst working with some of our biggest clients. Skills and experience: Typically, you will have two years or more post qualification experience to have gained the required breadth and depth of experience for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience of wholesale and global financial services. Contentious regulatory experience or experience in FSA related matters would also be a great advantage. Previous experience of undertaking secondments would be advantageous but is not essential. Key competencies: An adaptable individual you will be used to working in different environments with a variety of colleagues. You will be able to quickly build relationships with clients whilst seeking to understand their current requirements and providing them with commercially aware legal expertise.
