Description	Baker & McKenzie Intellectual Property Lawyer Date Posted: 14 July 2011 Experienced Associate Shanghai Description Our team advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, both multi-jurisdictional as well as domestic, including: Commercial and corporate transactions including advice on licensing assignments, franchising and other commercial IP transactions Overall IP portfolio management, regionally and globally Registration strategies for trademarks, patents and designs Brand protection strategies International and regional anti-counterfeiting and other enforcement programs Technical assistance and technology transfer agreements Trade practices and unfair competition law Search and investigation reports IP audits Development of Chinese-language trademarks Exploitation of IP rights, regionally and globally Lobbying and government relations work Litigation and dispute resolution Experience Required We are seeking experienced lawyers with talent, dedication and ambition to thrive in our unique global firm. The ideal candidates should possess some practising experience in IP, including trademark registration, enforcement and copyright areas particularly in the Pharma and Hi Tech sectors. Fluent in spoken and written English, also in Mandarin and written Chinese. At least 4 years experience in the intellectual property practice, including trademark registration, enforcement, counterfeit, copyright and patent areas.
