| Description | Arent Fox LLP Project Assistant The candidate will be responsible for assisting paralegals, senior paralegals, and attorneys with various bankruptcy and civil litigation matters. Responsibilities include: organizing, labeling and indexing documents, summarizing depositions, obtaining materials from or filing materials with federal and local courts. Other duties include performing database updates, legal research, monitoring publications, and assisting with cite checking, proofreading, and preparation of documents. Qualification and Experience: The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Should have educational knowledge of bankruptcy and civil litigation, most likely derived from a paralegal certificate. Excellent writing and communication skills are required. Must have excellent understanding of MS Word and Excel. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 required. Must be flexible to work overtime when needed. Must be flexible to travel, as needed. |
