Key Responsibilities We currently have a team of 25+ lawyers based in the Dubai office in the Banking & Finance group (headed by 4 partners). This team concentrates on finance and projects work in and originating from Dubai as well as the broader MENA region, and works closely with the smaller Finance & Projects team (10 lawyers) based in Abu Dhabi as well as the 7 Finance & Projects lawyers based in Riyadh. Skills and Qualifications We are currently seeking an outstanding lawyer with 4-6 years PQE to join our commercial/projects team. The candidate should be fluent in English and should have previous experience working in a top tier regional or international law firm. It is essential that they have a strong track-record working on large projects, preferably with experience of projects in Middle East. They should be familiar with concessions, O&M agreements, offtake agreements, feedstock agreements etc, ideally in a range of sectors (energy, infrastructure, mining and metals, oil & gas etc). Familiarity with major procurement methods (EPC, EPCM etc) would also be desirable but not essential. The candidate should be comfortable taking on responsibility and operating with minimal supervision. They should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills and a high level of commercial awareness. A minimum of a medium term commitment to the region is also essential.
