Description	Allen & Overy LLP Experienced Energy & Resources Lawyers - Sydney Ref AS0484 Country Australia Role Experienced Lawyers Area of Expertise Energy and Infrastructure Overview We are looking for an experienced lawyer / Senior Associate to join our Energy & Resources team in Sydney. We are particularly interested in lawyers with the following profile; - degree qualified - LLB or equivalent - at least 5 years of legal experience, experience in energy and resources law essential - professional qualifications ie admission to practice as a lawyer in home jurisdiction - current practising certificate in an Australian jurisdiction, or a certificate or attestation issued by an Australian jurisdictional regulatory body or Bar or Law Society that governs the legal profession confirming entitlement to practice in that jurisdiction, or intention to obtain such qualifications in Australia. - overseas experience desirable but not essential - experience with LNG, carbon or infrastructure projects desirable but not essential The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively engage with clients and focus on business development. The successful candidate will also be expected to apply expertise and knowledge to client situations, acquire and share that knowledge as well as develop, manage and coach junior lawyers.
